Desert Energy Water Saver Expanded Clay (04–10 mm | 15–25 mm) is a lightweight, porous growing medium made from high-quality expanded clay pellets. Designed to improve water management and root health, these pellets provide excellent drainage while retaining moisture for gradual release to plant roots.
The 04–10 mm size is ideal for hydroponics, seed starting, and mixing into potting media, while the 15–25 mm size is well suited for drainage layers, large planters, landscaping applications, and decorative top dressing. Both sizes help prevent waterlogging, improve aeration, and support strong, healthy root development.

How to Use
