Description:

The Corokia Cotoneaster, also known as Wire Netting Bush, is a uniquely structured ornamental shrub admired for its zigzagging, wiry branches and tiny, silvery-green leaves. Native to New Zealand, this plant brings a sculptural, architectural look to interiors and gardens alike, often described as quirky or whimsical in its appearance.

Its fine, interlaced branches and compact size make it a favorite for minimalist, modern plant styling—ideal for tabletops, shelves, or bright corners. In spring, small yellow star-like flowers may bloom, followed by small red berries, adding seasonal interest to its already intriguing form.

Plant Care:

Light: Prefers bright, indirect light to full sun. It thrives best near windows or in outdoor patios with filtered sunlight. Avoid prolonged deep shade.

Water: Allow the top inch of soil to dry between waterings. Water thoroughly but avoid letting the plant sit in water. More tolerant of drought than overwatering.

Soil: Grows well in a gritty, well-draining mix. A blend of regular potting soil with sand or perlite works well.

Humidity: Tolerant of average indoor humidity levels. Does not require misting but appreciates airflow around its branches.

Fertilizer: Feed once a month during spring and summer using a balanced liquid fertilizer diluted to half strength.

Disclaimer:

Our plants are supplied in nursery pots. The listed size includes the height of the plant along with the pot. As a living product, natural variations in size, shape, or fullness may occur depending on the season and growth stage.
